I could drizzle a Balsamic Glaze on practically anything. I love it so much. Plus, it’s such a fancy little add on to any dish. I also love that fact that it’s the simplest thing to make! Seriously. So, without further ado, here’s how to make a great Balsamic Glaze.
What you need to make this Balsamic Glaze
- 1 3/4 cups of Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 cup of Brown sugar
That’s it. That’s all you need. For something that dresses up a dish so beautifully, it take such little effort.
1 3/4 cups of balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Heat vinegar and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring consistently until sugar dissolves and oil begins to bubble (boil). Turn down to a simmer, until glaze has thickened and is reduced to half (around 25 minutes). Once done, remove from heat, let cool, and store in fridge.
